September 2025 – Our Visit to Stowford Farm
In September we went to Stowford Farm for a school trip. We had an amazing day learning about how our food gets to our plates from farms. We helped milk the cows and we toured the farm to see the crops growing. Then we ground the crops to make flour, and churned the milk to make butter milk and butter in the farm kitchens. Finally we made our own delicious scones using ingredients from the farm. They were delicious!
October 2025 – Our Inspiration Text – The Disgusting Sandwich by Gareth Edwards
We were horrified to find that someone had spread disgusting sandwich ingredients all around our classroom! We needed to work together to find them all and clean up!
After reading The Disgusting Sandwich story, we had great fun creating our own disgusting sandwiches!
